Why do we consider ourselves
to be an Eco-Friendly Hotel?
All originated from simple ecological thinking: our house is the place where we live. During his life, Man must look after himself, but, above all the environment that surrounds him. We have a responsibility towards future generations and, as the native Americans said: “We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors; we borrow it from our children”.
This thought has become our guide in all our choices and we are proud to contribute personally in caring for all our guests, and ensure that they will find many snow-flakes in the Winter, a nice fresh Summer and be able to admire our glaciers.
In order to respect your privacy and pollute as little as possible, we offer you the daily opportunity to decide whether or not you would like to have your room cleaned and your sheets or bathroom linen changed. In this way it is our desire that you can also join us in helping to keep Earth the lovely blue planet that shines in the universe.
We have chosen to:
- use local, homemade Organic products, buying seasonal products directly from the producer.
- use 100% electricity from renewable sources.

- use table napkins and toilet paper made from cellulose recycled from Tetra Pak
- use biodegradable shower caps and glasses
- use solar panels for producing hot water for the swimming pool
- install a pellet boiler
- purchase soaps and shampoos from a social cooperative that employs disadvantaged people in the cultivation of zero-mile organic medicinal herbs
- we promote the use of bicycles: we are Bike Hotel and have an agreement for their hire
- provide microfiltered water in glass bottles or Tetrapack containers and thus completely eliminate plastic bottles
